How Can I Help? Ask!

Ask Answer Choice

The ‘ASK’ that really counts.

I’m continually reminded of the wisdom of, “Ask and you shall receive.” It’s true in life and business. One of the things I want my life to be about is making the ask that really counts.

NOT that ask, (the ask for the sale.) THE OTHER ask.

The “How can I help you, what do you need right now? ask. Over the course of my life I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left a meeting in which no one made the ask, not me nor the other individuals. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked in and out of events and encounters still fairly estranged, unknown to most everyone I talked to. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve engaged seemingly wholeheartedly with someone in life and business and never been asked by them, “How can I help? What do you need next to realize your dreams, goals?” Perhaps this question seems too intimate, personal but I would argue that’s exactly the reason it’s the question we really need to be asking.

I believe in abundance, faith, The Golden Rule, paying it forward, serendipity, timing, serving and that ultimately I am here on planet earth to make a difference.

Want to join me? Commit to a life of making the ask, the ask that really counts? What might happen if you and I begin to show up in every encounter we have with others intent on discovering on how we might help, what their needs are. What if beyond making the ask that really counts, we also commit to connecting and resourcing people to what they want and need? Show up intent to be solutions. To play all out to help others?

If not us, then who? If not me, then you? It’s great to quote Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see.” Better yet to actually show up and do it.

How can I help you? What do you need next to unleash a life and business full of meaning, passion and profits? Drop me a note. Send me a comment.

I want to make the ASK, that really counts.
