What I’m learning; NOW

So I’ve been up to my arm pits in a new venture and I haven’t been writing.

That’s a problem for me because writing is one of the ways I confirm what I’m learning and it keeps me from staring at my wrinkles in the mirror and micro-managing my son.

I have a new writing venture in the works and perhaps that’s why I’ve been taking a rest from blogging and writing.

You see I love writing but I don’t always love writing about business.

Sometimes writing about business and marketing seems about as important as botox.

Somedays I can’t bear to write about branding, or a new tag line- although I rock at this stuff it’s not the stuff that keeps me alive, inspired or wanting to get out of bed in the morning.

People. Faith. Showing up. Learning, growing. Becoming. God. Christ. Grace. Forgiveness. Laughter. Now those things ring my bell…

So stay tuned. I have a new site planned that will be 365 days of inspiration. My heart is hungry to work on a project that feeds my soul and yours.

And since it’s been awhile here’s what I’ve been learning and relearning, recently:

Teenagers are more fun in 21 inches of powder.

Most leaders aren’t good listeners.

I don’t appreciate not being heard and yet I do it to others all the time…

The world will continually try to get your best for less- it’s up to you to decide what you are worth.

If it’s too good to be true – it probably is.

Interrupting people when they speak is a sign of immaturity. Sometimes I’m immature.

The highest love is the one that does not have to possess or change only support, encourage and empower.

Most organizations burn out their best and brightest.

It’s not what you say that matters; it’s who you be..

We could all do more praising and recognizing people when they make our day, our venture, our project.

Most of the reason we have difficulty working with others is we are controlling and we really want our own way…

Some of us need to take a lot less action and think more…some of us need to get off our butts and get back into the game.

God loves me even when I suck. I’m pretty sure:-)

You don’t know someone till you’ve been through bad times with them.

Impatience kills relationships and ventures every day.

Self centerdness, selfishness is the anti-christ. Somedays I am the anti-christ. Some day’s I’m just me.

Make it fabulous

Pam
